Defend the Hyrule Dynasty on the go!
Releasing in early 2016, Link and his friends from across several different universes will be coming to the 3DS in the most action-packed Zelda fighting game ever, “Hyrule Warriors.” The 3DS version of the game will include every character included in the Wii U version, as well as DLC characters. It will also contain characters from my favorite “The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.” Tetra and The King of Red Lions will be making their first appearance in the game, bringing us two new characters to ravage Ganon’s minions with.
If you never played the original “Hyrule Warriors,” now is the time to pick up the new version and live the life of the newest Link.
Nintendo made it very clear that they would not be releasing any news about Zelda Wii U, but that didn’t stop them from announcing a new, different, LoZ title that is coming soon to 3DS: “The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes.” The newest title is very similar to “The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures,” but this time there are only three heroes.
The new game follows the adventure of Link and two look-a-likes, a blue and a red Link, as they travel through the lands of Hyrule fighting enemies and solving puzzles in the art style of “The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.” For those who prefer to adventure alone, two AI will take over the jobs of Blue Link and Red Link and will help the player in situations where they are needed, but, for those who link to play with friends, players can adventure with friends either locally or they can play through an online multiplayer, the first online multiplayer in any Zelda title.
“The Legend of Zelda” is personally my favorite video game series of all time, and I will definitely be adding these two new titles to my Zelda collection.
